Dear Merry,

Recently,I have trouble with my study.

In school I can't listen to teachers carefully because I always feel tired and sleepy.I don't spend time with friends after class either because I think it's a waste of time.I even miss writing some answers in the test.

At home,I can't get my homework done every night. My parents don't let me stay up.So

I have to get up early the next morning to finish it.Lately,I even get a bad headache.

How can I solve these problems?

Yours,

LiuYa

Dear Liu Ya,

When you have trouble listening to teachers carefully in class, you can ask your teachers or deskmate to remind you often. Then spending time talking about many different things with friends can make you happy. It's not a waste of time.As for homework, when it's hard to get finished, one thing you can try is setting goals for yourself.Ask your parents to help you.You must take a break, especially if you don't feel well. You might be surprised but a short break can help you get more done!Lastly,if you don't worry and have enough sleep, your headache will leave you.

Yours,

Merry

If someone says to you: “give me five”, do not search your pocket to get five yuan! It will make others laugh! The person's not asking for your money, but your fingers.
In the US, "give me five" or "give me the high five" is a popular gesture (动作). You can see it often in films or on TV. It means the clapping (拍) of each other's raised (举起的) right hands together.
People do it when they meet for the first time or something happy happens. For example, a student has good marks in exams or wins a lottery ticket (彩票).If a football team wins a game, the players will give high fives to everyone around to celebrate.
This gesture may come from the old Roman gesture of raising the right arm for the emperor(皇帝). This showed that the person raising his arm did not have a sword (刀) in his hand.

When visiting Beijing, the Palace Museum is a must-see for many people.
Last year, the museum received 14.2 million visitors, which is twice the number of visitors in 2002. This year it is expected to increase by 10 percent. Compared with other popular museums around the world, the number of visitors at the Palace Museum is very high. Last year the Louvre(罗浮宫) in Paris welcomed 8.8 million visitors and the British Museum in London received 5.8 million.
A large number of visitors can bring a lot of money from ticket sales. But there are also worries that people will do demage(破坏) to relics(文物) and old buildings.
To solve the problem, some people suggested taking cultural objects out of the Palace Museum. In this way, visitors coming for ancient buildings and cultural objects will go to different places. “It is a sign of progress. Letting more people see these treasures is more important than keeping them in their original(原始的) place,” said Song Xiangguang, a professor at Peking University.
However, Shan Jixiang, director of the Palace Museum, doesn’t agree on this idea. He thinks that the most important thing in protecting the Palace Museum is to keep it complete. “The 1.8 million cultural relics and the historical buildings are two key parts of the museum. They can’t be separated.” he said.
Shan said that they are planning to increase the space that is open to the public. This will not only feed visitors’ curiosity(好奇), but also spread them out so they are not putting too much pressure on one area.
Shan also wanted to set up an appointment system. “ If visitors make an appointment before they come, we can make better and different visiting routes(路线) for them.” Shan said.

C.To make more money from ticket sales. D.To keep the Palace Museum original.

By reading the article, we can know that______________.

A.the Palace Museum has an appointment system now.
B.relics are the only important part of the Palace Museum.
C.the Louvre welcomed the most visitors in the world last year.
D.Shan thought that more areas of the palace should be open to public.
