Getting up to speed

Before you begin running， you should：

• Find a partner to train with you． Ask a friend from school or from your neighbourhood， your brother or sister， or a parent or other relative．

• Make sure you have a good pair of running shoes that fit you well．

• Stay hydrated（含水的）！（62） 　 　Be sure to drink water often to keep your body working．

• （63） 　 　Fruits and vegetables， whole grains ，and low﹣fat milk products all help keep a healthy body． Have an apple and a piece of cheese， or an orange and whole﹣grain cakes．
