It's been nearly 40 years since I became a member of the navy. You may be wondering how I have won so many honors as a commander﹣in﹣chief. Chinese writing is one of the world's greatest writing systems. It is more w(1)   in use than alphabetic(字母的) writing systems. More than half of the world's books are written in Chinese, including historical writings and novels, along with writings on government and law.
