Are you looking for good books to read？You're in the night place．Here（1） ．I believe that the books are changing our lives．But first， I want you to think about reading in a different context（语境）．You can not just read for fun． Instead， think of reading as a tool for solving problems， a tool you can use to get valuable knowledge from experts all over the world．
How many times have you found you have no idea to solve a problem？ Whether（2） _ or how to become a better acting of yourself， you just can't seem to come up with a good solution． If you're anything like me， you start asking yourself， "How do the experts deal with this ？" Well， （3） and the answer is very easy to get． You can find the answers to most things by reading a book．
In my Better Habits Guide， one of the ten daily habits I suggest is reading． In Fear of Failure？ I note that（4） in the effort to learn from the tests and mistakes of others． All in all， reading is good．
Although I said a lot， I still believe（5） than others． These good books are the ones that have had a wonderful influence on my journey to be a better person．
One afternoon, my son came home from school and asked me, “Are all people the same even if their skin color is different?” I thought for a moment, then I said, “I’ll explain. Let’s go to a fruit store first. I have something interesting to show you.”
At the store, I told him that we needed to buy apples. And we bought some red apples, green apples and yellow apples.
After we got home, I told Adam, “It’s time to answer your question.” I put one of each type of apple on the table: first a red apple, followed by a green apple and then a yellow apple. Then I looked at Adam, who was sitting on the other side of the table.
“Adam, people are just like apples. They come in different colors, shapes and sizes. See, some may not even look as delicious as others.” As I was talking, Adam was examining each one carefully.
Then, I took each of the apples and peeled them, placing them back on the table, but in a different place.
“OK, Adam, tell me which one is the red apple, the green apple and the yellow apple.”
He said, “I can’t tell. They all look the same now.”
“Take a bite(一口) of each one. See if that helps you tell which one is which.”
He took big bites, and then a huge smile came across his face. “People are just like apples! They are all different, but if you take off the outside, they’re pretty much the same on the inside.”
“Right,” I agreed. “Just like everyone has their own features but they are nearly the same.”
He completely got it. I didn’t need to say or do anything else.

Fashion isn’t very environmentally-friendly because it makes people buy things they don’t need, just because they’re new. We want to take care of the environment, we don’t want to pollute the air and we don’t want to waste energy and resources. But we also want to be fashionable. How can we buy fashionable clothes and protect the environment?
Old styles are fashionable again, so one way is to buy second-hand clothes — recycled clothes. Another way is to buy’ fair trade clothes. These clothes are either recycled or made in a ’ way that protects the environment. They also protect the people who make the clothes.
Surprisingly, white cotton is one of the least environmentally-friendly crops of all. To protect the cotton, the growers use chemicals that pollute water, make farm workers ill and kill wildlife. New materials, such as hemp and bamboo, grow quickly and are more environmentally-friendly. These materials are very soft, and look fantastic. The best materials are coloured using natural dyes, made from plants.
Environmentally-friendly clothes are practical but until now they were often dull. Now fashion-designers are working with these materials and the clothes are beautiful as well. So now we can buy fashionable clothes that are also environmentally-friendly. Why do people often buy things they don’t need? Because_.
