Tony: Hello, everyone. I am Tony, the group leader. These are my group members, Betty, Daming and Lingling. As we know, Jinhua is a beautiful city with a long history. But you may not know the two longest corridor bridges(廊桥) in China are here. They are Xijin Bridge and Shuxi Bridge. So we chose these two bridges as our project target(项目任务). Here is our presentation.
Betty: I’ll introduce the process. First we made a plan about the time we would need and how to do the project. It took us three weekends to do online searching, visit the bridges, interview the local people and make the leaflet.
Daming: After collecting all the information and doing the necessary study, we have made them into a leaflet as our product. Let’s take a look.
The two bridges are made of wood. They are called “sister bridges” because they look really similar. Xijin Bridge, the longest bridge, is in Yongkang and the second longest is in Wuyi called Shuxi Bridge.
Lingling: What we’d like to share with you most is our gains and feelings. We are all amazed by the wisdom(智慧) of the ancient bridge builders and feel so proud of our hometown.
Tony: Now, what do you think of our project? Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Thank you.

Mr. Happy always woke up with a sunny smile. He was one of the most cheerful (1) (man) in the world. His smile was even(2) (bright) than the sun. However, He had one secret that made him sad, but nobody knew about it.
Then one day, while going out, (3) a walk,Mr. Happy met Miss Beautiful.Mr. Happy smiled as usual and Miss Beautiful smiled back. But then she stopped and looked at Mr. Happy(4) (angry).
"How rude!" she shouted."Young man, don't you know that you should raise your hat (5) you meet a lady!"
For(6) first time in his life, Mr. Happy lost his smile."I'm sorry," Miss Beautiful. replied Mr. Happy,"But without (7) (I)hat on, I'm not very good﹣looking and that makes me sad."
"Really?" asked Miss Beautiful."Well, let me see. I promise(8) (keep) the secret.
Mr. Happy(9) (lift) his hat. He had the total of only three hairs on his head!
"Is that all you're worried about?" asked Miss Beautiful." Why?Your bright sunny smile(10) (love) by everybody, not how many hairs you have!" Miss Beautiful smiled.
Ever since that day, Mr. Happy hasn't stopped smiling. He is always quick to raise his hat to everyone he meets.
Healthy living to most people means having a healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips that people should follow in their(1) (日常的) life.
Healthy eating plays an important role. Make sure you have three(2) (餐) a day on time. Good breakfast, rich lunch and less dinner are suggested. Try to(3) (避 免) food high in sugar.
Regular exercise also leads to a healthy lifestyle. It can help you keep your weight under control and (4) (赢)self﹣confidence at the same time. It's a good idea for you to exercise for(5) (三十)minutes each time, at least three days a week.Shall we do exercise every day?It(6) (视..而定). However, every time you exercise, you put(7) (你自己) at risk of getting hurt, so remember to do it in a right way.
(8) (足够的) sleep is the key to a healthy lifestyle. For most people it is necessary to keep eight hours of sleep each day.If you don't fall asleep within twenty minutes, do something (9) (使人放松的).Reading and listening to light music are good (10) (选择). And then you may fall asleep soon.
Last summer I got the chance to spend a month helping out in a hospital in Africa. I had one year left at school, and I was(1) (interest) in studying medicine at university.
It was a month that changed my life.I(2) (introduce) to a world that is very different to mine in so many ways.I was shocked at how poor so many(3) (family) over there are and how difficult their lives can be.But I was also surprised at how positively people spend(4) (they) daily lives. The way they come together and help each other is a real inspiration, and something I think a lot of us here in the UK have forgotten.I think many of us don't realize(5) lucky we are.My work in the hospital was hard. Not only did I spend a lot of time cleaning floors,but(6) I got to spend some time looking after the patients. And I got the chance(7) (talk) to some doctors and ask them about the job.I saw some truly awful things in the hospital,(8) none of them changed my mind about being a doctor.(9) fact, they only made me more determined to do medicine!
When I finish, I know(10) I'm going to do: I want to work for an international organization like the Red Cross. I can't wait to get started.

Music helps us exercise﹣but why does it have this effect?Experts say there are two main reasons.The(1) is simple:music takes our attention away. When we listen to a song we like, our brains focus on the music. For example, after we exercise(2) 20 minutes, our body might be tired. But we may not feel this immediately(3) we are listening to music. So we can exercise a little longer.
Music also makes us want to move. When we hear dance music, for example, we naturally start to move to the beat. A positive song also puts us in a good mood, so we feel much(4) .This gives us energy and helps us exercise longer. Music with a quick and continuing beat is good for exercising. "But the music shouldn't be too fast,"(5) Dr. Costas, a famous sports expert. In general, songs in the range of 120﹣140 beats per minute (BPM) are the best.
Road﹣side business has become a hot topic recently. Premier (总理)Li Keqiang once said that road﹣side business can reflect common people's life lively.
Last weekend, 5 college students decided to taste the trade pattern and difficulties of life outside school (1) selling vegetables on the side of the road together.
In the morning, they had to (2) up at 3 o'clock.First, they went to the farm near the city to buy different (3) of vegetables. To reduce (减少) the cost, they learn to bargain (讲价) with the farmers. Then they went back to the city as soon as (4) to take up a street stall(摊位).At about 6:30 a.m.after putting vegetables in order and nicer ones on top, they began to(5) vegetables. They peddled (吆喝)loudly and actively to attract customers. When the vegetables were not sold out, they gave them (6) to homeless people. Two days (7) , they earned (挣得) about 300 yuan.
After this unusual experience, they shared their feelings with each(8) ."We were tired,(9) we gained a lot. Compared with hanging out, such social practice makes us learn (10) difficult it is to make money." said Wang Wen, who came up with this idea.
