Air travel has three advantage over train travel. First, it can save much time. We can fly from one place to other in a short time, but by train we have to spend more time. Second, air travel is more comfortable because the plane flies so smooth that we can have good rest during the trip. Third, the train is crowding sometimes and we have to sit for a long time, what makes us tired. But train travel also has it’s own advantages. For an example, traveling by train cost only a little money. Beside, we can enjoy the view out of the train’s windows.

“Saving the Earth” Conference holding in Dalian came to end last Saturday. The five-days conference was attended by experts and scientists from more than fifty countries. The subject discussed at the meeting including: pollution, population and wildlife protection. Three main speakers spoke on different subjects. The experts and scientists sharedwitheach other’s ideas.
The conference suggested that all countries took their responsibilities for preventing pollution, controlling population growth and plant more trees. It encouraged people of the world take good care of the earth. It is hoping that one day the world will be a place which men can enjoy a better life.

I first met Li Ming at a friend birthday party five years ago. Then I invited Li Ming over in my place. We listen to my CDs together and soon became best friends. As the high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term. They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise the language. I seize every chance talk with them. However, I sometime find they are not so interesting in what I say, and it’s hard for I to choose a suitable topic. I would like some advices about how to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick.
