My mother is a teacher work in a key high school. She is too busy that she often has to get up early and stay up late. In addition to this, she hardly has any time to take exercises. She has been on poor health for some time. My father and I are worried that she may fall ill if she works too hard. These days I’m thinking why to develop my mother’s interest in playing sports. Considered that today is Mother’s Day, I decided buy a pair of jogging shoes for her. I secretly put them on the desk in her study. I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamed that I took part in a race. At first, I could not run very fast and fall behind. So I didn’t lose heart and kept run. All the students on the playground cheered me on, “Come on!” I was so encouraged that I ran faster and fast till I caught up all the other runners. I felt as if flying like a superman. In the end, I got to the finishing line at first. I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmate threw me up into the air. Just at that time I woke up and found me still in bed!

The news which the English Entrance Examination will be reformed has caused a big “earthquake” in our country．Many people, included students, are for it．But there are also some people are against it．Then, is it better to do so or not? Personally, I think the reform has between advantages and disadvantages．On the one hand, it can reduce students’ learn burden and enable English to return back to its true function．On the other hand, it will cause students to spend less time on studying English and to attached less importance to English．If so, students will not have a good knowledge of English．What’s more, if students don’t have so a good ability, they will not be able to broaden our horizon and meet the future challenges．

Yesterday I showed to my friend Peter around Beijing city．We started off at8：00 a．m．First we went to the Forbidden City, which was one of the most popular tourist spot in Beijing．Then we visited the History Museum．We observed a lot of valuable things in them and we learned a lot about Chinese history．After a quick meal, we went to Beihai Park. Upon arrival, we were all struck by its beautiful scenes．We spent a whole afternoon appreciated the wonder．It was until 18:00 p.m．that we went back．We did have a wonderful time．Peter was very pleased with my arrangement that he invited me to a new-built western restaurant to have a big meal.
