Yesterday a school boy is daydreaming in class. Not knowing that he was doing, he put a pen cap into his mouth. A few minutes late, he was terrified to find that he had swallowed it! The teacher was shocking when the boy stood up and said, “I've just swallowed a pen cap.” He was quickly sent the nearest hospital. There a doctor examined him and said the best treatment was to take some medicines so that the pen cap could pass natural. Three hours later the boy successfully made it.“She is really lucky，” said the doctor. “It's not rare that small children put things into their mouths for a fun. It's very danger.”

Dear Mrs.Winthop，
So my first week at college is over! No lectures this morning so I think I'd email you and let you know what things are going.
I'm glad to say that anything has worked out fine in the dorm.I remember asking for a room as far away from the lifts as possible and they find me a comfortable one on second floor. There are two girls from my course here and I plan to make friend with them so that we can help each other on the course work. Everyone else seems very nice and warmly here. Well，I had better to stop now. I'm going to attend mine first lesson this afternoon, for I've got some preparation to make. Keep in touch.

As far as I can remember, grow up in Ohio left many good memories and very few bad ones．We rented a home near a lake where I spent good time of my life．I attended to school to learn a variety of course，and went camping overnight in the woods．My dog and I would go fishing in the lake that I mentioned early．During the winter we will come down at night and go ice-skating on the lake．In Ohio the snow could be heavily sometimes and too deep to walk in as I was not that tall at the time．It was not until I was sixteen and moved to California when the life was changed．This was a tough change for me because the area total differed from Ohio．There was no rivers or lakes to fish in at all．

One Sunday, I was reading my book while it suddenly occurred to me that it was mother birthday the next day． However, I forgot it complete． I was worried that I didn‘t prepare any present to her． At that moment, idea of online shopping came to my mind． I clicked the mouse and search some famous shopping websites． Having compared the price of many dresses, I chose one with a reasonable price which I supposed Mum would appreciate it and bought it as soon as possible． The next day I received the dress as expected without get out of my room． You see, online shopping is very convenient that it has made our life colorful．

Nowadays, many people complain to their poor achievements in study. Some are eager to know others’ secrets to succeed, thinking that they should have mastered some specially ability in study. In fact, only by practising a lot can we become skillful at doing nothing. Do you know why a baby learns to speak? He practised his mother tongue day and night and finally becomes fluent in them. So we should well remember that there is no such a shortcut. No one can become an expert without practising a lot. We should bear the hardships in our study, then we can enjoy the fruits of our efforts.
