假如英语课上老师要求同学们交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误，要求你在错误的地方增加、删除或修改某个单词。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号(/\)，并在其下面写上该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线(＼)划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写上修改后的词。

I have always quite irrationally prided myself for my good health, for I only occasionally had to take a day off the work when I have a cold. So I was quite offended by my doctor who, when we ran to each other in the street the other day, taking one look at me and told me that I was definite fat and that if I did not make effort to lose some weight, I could expect to have a heart attack very long. He added that, like many middle-aged man, I led an inactive life. It was true that I had been gotten fatter, but it was because I was getting older.

However, others believe it is unsafe to buy goods in credit card. And it is possible to check the quality of the goods.
As far as I am concern, going shopping in a store is a better way. It is a fun walking around stores and look at various goods on sale. We can choose that we really need and even find a good bargain. Besides, we can chat with the shop assistant and acquire a lot of useful information.

I am a high school student. A few days before，one of my very good friend told me that he was going to stop school. He said that he wanted to start his own business. I tried my best to get him change his mind, but failed. I know it is difficult of him to change his mind. He is not doing so good in his studies, yet I want to insist that I give it a try. The process is important than the results. Now there are only 90 days leaving before the test. I am not sure that his decision is right or wrong. I needed your advice.

Sports and games are very useful for character training. In their lessons at the school, boys and girls may learn about such virtues like unselfishness, courage, discipline and love of one’s country. So what is learned in books cannot have the same deep effect on child’s character as what is learned by experience. As most of the pupils’ time is spent in classes study lessons, the ordinary day school can’t give many practical training for their lives in the future. So it is how the pupils do in the spare time that really prepare them to take their places in society as citizens when they grow up. Unless each of them learns to work for his team, and not for himself on the football field, he will later find it naturally to work for the good of his country instead only for his own benefit.
