"Ten steps from the gate and twenty steps from rose bushes," A man spoke at a low voice in Jimmy’s dream one night. "There is treasure there!" So the next day Jimmy began dig. He dug before the hole was not any deeper and the dirt pile was at its highest. He sighed, "I’m very tired to dig anymore." Then he discovered anything. It was a dog bone. He thought, "That man lied to me!" But when Jimmy’s mother saw what he has done, she clapped with her hands and smiled. "Oh, thank you, Jimmy. I always wanted another rose bush planting just there. Here’s $5.00 with digging that hole."
Do you read reviews after you see a movie? I use to do that, but I usually regretted. I read so much about a movie on advance that I often ended up not go to see it at all. The writers point out everything that is wrong with the film, but seldom mentions anything good about one. They also tell many things and even the ending of the movie. Lately I have changed way I choose movies to watch. I read reviews afterwards if necessary. What is very importance to me is that I don’t watch
the talk shows in that people discuss movies. And I don’t ask other people how they like of it. Now, I enjoy myself even more.

Dear Headmaster,
I am writing to talk about the canteen of our school. There are only a few stand in the canteen, leading to lots of students have to line up for food. It is waste of time, isn’t it? But at times the food is not fresh and does not taste deliciously. So it’s not surprising that some students chose to go to the street to buy junk food which do harm to their health. Would you think about that how to improve it? I would appreciate you if you could take some measures. Hopefully, my opinion can be taken to account.

My dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. They are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We didn’t need to do so many homework. Therefore, we have more time with after-school activities. For example, we can do reading for one and half hour and play sports for one hour every day.
My dream school look like a big garden. There are all kinds of the flowers and trees around the classroom buildings. We can lie on the grass for a rest, or sat by the lake listening music. The teachers here are kind and helpfully. They are not only our teachers but also our friends.

Jack Brown, a office worker, lives in Washington. He inherited(继承) a million dollar when he was 23 years old. Because his college friends were looking for their jobs, he didn’t have to. But he was happy at all. Jack decided to live a simply life like everyone else. He gave $ 10,000 of their money to a charity to help poor children live a better life. Today he is 36. He still wears cheap shoes and clothes and drive a small car, but he is very happy. Up to now Jack helped some children from poor countries all over the world, by sent them each $ 200 a month. His money has been used as for the children’s study, food, medicine and clothing.
