A few years ago, when I was still in high school, I met a wonderful and warm teacher. At that time in my life, there were many changes to adjust to, apart from the usual teenage troubles. We were standing at the top of a church tower. My father had brought me to this spot in a small town not far from our home in Rome. I wondered why.
