One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides me.The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn’t believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful l accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give it to everyone else. It was a lesson to us and it was possible give without expect anything in return.

The burden of students have been a hot topic for years, but the load of parents has received few attention, especially from their own children.
The picture shows us a touched moment when a little girl comes to greet her working mom. Realizing her mom must be very tired after a day's work, the girl helps to remove the bag from his shoulder.
All this reminds me of my mother whom has been doing whatever she can to let me to have the best. But totally engaged in my own study, I seldom pay attention to that my mother needs and always think studying well is only thing I can do in return. Now I know I can do my bit to help my mother with everyday washing, bedroom cleaning, or at least preparing breakfast myself, so as to share her daily burden. The picture has convinced me that it is even much important to be a good daughter than a "good" student.

I often dream of be a teacher. I dream of standing in the platform（讲台）in the classroom and I give
lessons to lovely boys or girls. I teach them, play with them, and watch them growing up. I am always
Young when I was staying with them. I know there is not easy to be teacher. Without enough knowledges , you can never teach well. Besides, you have to make friends with your pupils and take good care of him.
Though I am a student now, but I will work very hard to make my dream comes true.

Time is valuable but limit. There’s a famous saying, “Time is money”, this shows the
important of time. When time has gone, it will never return back. It’s a pity when many people
make poorly use of time. They spend their precious time oversleeping, drinking and traveling.
They don’t realize wasting time is equal to waste part of their life. They always regret having
made a little achievement so far. Therefore, we should form the habit of valuing time. Don’t put off
that can be done today until tomorrow. Laziness will not only bring us failure, but also lead us on
poverty and even death.

On October 3rd, 2008, a police car was parked on front of my house when I returned back home from a football game. I walked into the kitchen and my mom looked worriedly. I asked him what had happened. She told me “your dad was missing! The police thought he had killed anyone in a car accident or driven away.” I was shocked hear that. About a hour later, my dad came back and was surprised to see the police. It turned out that the police were wrong. My neighbor was using my father’s cars when the accident happened. My father said the neighbor had lent it from him two days before.

John is studying in his room when he heard screaming. He or his father rushed to see how had happed. They discovered a woman was lying in her front garden bleeding very heavy. Her hands had almost cut off. It was John’s quick action and knowledges of fist aid that saved the woman’s life. He asked the number of nearby people for bandages and his father got some tea towels and tape from their house. John used these to treat the much severe injuries. He slowed the bleeding by apply pressure to the wounds until the police arrived. “ I am proud in what I did,” John said.
