I think people have always found the future excited.Just think of some science fiction books that have written on the subject.The 21st century will bring wonderful advances in the world information technology.We can see through the Internet that the amazing possibilities for communication and learning.Other exciting area is medical progress.It would be good think of a world which cancer is no longer a frightening word.I'm sure medical research will sonn find cure for this disease.Apart from these technical developments,future is exciting on a more personal level too.Most young people think of their future with hope.Who knows that the future will bring in the way of jobs? The fact that we don't know make it exciting.So yes ,the future is exciting.

How are you? Today I've got a wonderful news to tell you. I have offered a scholarship at a university in Australia for my further education. One hundreds and twenty students took exams but only a few was chosen and I was one of them. However, my parents are not happy about it. They are strong against me going there. They say it is too far away that they will not see me for a whole year and they are afraid I will feel lonely. They couldn't imagine a girl so young living alone. They advise me to study in the capital instead. Then I'll be able to continue living with us. Why can I persuade them to accept the fact I have grown up?

Christine was just a girl in one of my classes. I never knew much about her except for that she was strange. She didn't talk many. Her hair was black and purple, and she worn black sports shoes and a black sweater, although in the summer, she was, in fact, rather attractively, and she never seemed care what the rest of us thought about her. Like the rest of my classmate, I didn't really want to get closest to her. It was only when we did their chemistry project together that I begin to understand why Christine dressed the way she did.
