As a proverb goes, “Preparedness ensures success and unpreparedness spells failure”. It can’t be denied whethergood preparation is one of the essentials of success.
The first two years of my junior middleschool life went sosmoothly and I got verygood grades in every exam that I took it for granted that I amsure to be admitted by a key high school. However，in my junior three, I began totally loosening myself up and no longer focused on study. It is no accident that my academic performance declined sharp. Until the last month of my junior three did I realize it and concentratedon learning again. On a snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what is worse, the bus ran out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for their help.

I almost didn’t wake up in time for school this morning. I stayed up late last night, prepare my lessons. The alarm clock does go off, but I didn’t hear them because I was too tired.
It was already 7 o’clock when I opened my eye. The first thing I was aware was that I would be late. Terrified, I ran to school and without having breakfast. I didn’t want to be criticized by the teacher, nor I want to be laughed at by my classmates. Lucky, I rushed into the classroom in the last minute. We had a test today, for that I was well-prepared and it was so easy a exam that I got high marks. What an exciting experience!

So my first week at college is over! No lectures this morning so I think I'd email you and let you know what things are going.
I'm glad to say that anything has worked out fine in the dorm.I remember asking for a room as far away from the lifts as possible and they find me a comfortable one on second floor. There are two girls from my course here and I plan to make friend with them so that we can help each other on the course work. Everyone else seems very nice and warmly here. Well，I had better to stop now. I'm going to attend mine first lesson this afternoon, for I've got some preparation to make. Keep in touch.
