The first time I went to swim was from about 5 years ago. Many friends could swim well and they often laugh at me. So I decided to swim as well as we did. One summer afternoon, the weather was amazed, so I thought it was good for swimming. Thus, I came to the pool but found many boys were already there. I was afraid and did not know what to do. Just as I was wondering, I felt somebody give me a push and I was dropped. Frightened in the water, I wouldn’t help crying. “Help, help! ” I heard some laughter from opposite side. I tried to keep myself balance, only to find the water was just a little above my knee.

Last Tuesday, the Students' Union in our school advised that Senior Three students shall do something specially for their parents on their 18th birthdays. All the students are active in responding it and most of them have come up with their ideas. Some choose to write a letter saying it's best way to express their appreciations as well as love for their parents. Others will prefer to cook a big meal to show that they've already grown up.
As for me, I want to do up hair and wash feet for my parents. By doing which my parents have been doing for me I can really know how much they've devoted to bring me up. Being 18 years old mean that we should learn to be independent and that we should be responsible for us.

Music and songs play a important part in our daily life. For example, it can bring us pleasure and make us happy. Besides, they can help us improve our study and working efficiency. I fond of listening to songs and music very much, but my favorite song is Country Road. The lyrics and music bring me into a beautiful world in that I am loved and cared by Grandma. What's more, they make me think of my wonderful childhood was spent in my hometown and I can still remember the game played with my young fellow. In a word, once enjoying, the song will never be forgotten.

Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know what one to buy because these books were all useful to me. At 10:00, we went to cinema. The film was called The Earthquake of Tangshan but some people were waiting outside the booking office. It took us about two hours to see it. Having been seen the film, everyone was deeply moving. Some of my friends even burst into tear. That’s a really wonderful film. It is very worth seeing.
What a happy day! I hope tomorrow I will be even happier.
