It was fine on April 8, 2010 .That day all the students in our class go to the suburb of our city to plant trees. On we arriving at the planting place at 8 o’clock , the teacher asked each of us to plant 5 trees at least. Then we set out digging, planting and watering. All of us were going all out finish our task, afraid of falling behind. Between us, our monitor set a good example to us. Barbara Herrera has been my best friends since childhood. We are all from Chicago, but now I live in San Francisco and Barbara lives in Atlanta. We didn’t see each other very often. I often write to Barbara and tell of her about all the things that is happening at my company. And she often writes to me about my work. There are also other ways we communicate with each other. Sometimes we talk on phone, or send emails to each other. We are really luckily. In this new age of communication, there are so much ways we can keep in touch with each other. A visitor visits an island where two tribes live. One trible always tells the truth and an other always lies. Today is my Dad’s birthday.
This afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown and bought present for him.
Then I take the subway train home.
Sitting on the train, I thought my dad would be very happy when I saw the present.
At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bags got in the train and stood in the front of me.
She looked tiredly.
I hesitated for a moment, and then offered my seat to hers.
The old lady thanked me a lot and seated down.
Seen her smile, I felt happy. I will always be ready to help other in the future.
