下面短文中有10处语言错误。请在有错误的地方增加、删除或修改某个单词。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏词符号(∧)，并在其下面写上该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线(＼)划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写上修改后的词。
注意：1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；
2.只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不给分。
I live in a very old town which is surrounding by beautiful woods. It is a famous beauty spot. In Sundays, hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods. Visitors have asked to keep the woods clean and tidy. Litter baskets have been placed under the trees, and people still throw their rubbish everywhere. Last Wednesday, I go for a walk in the woods. That I saw made me very sad. I counted seven old cars and three old refrigerators. The litter basket were empty and the ground was covered with pieces of paper, cigarette ends, old tyres, empty bottles or rusty tins. Among the rubbish, I found a sign which was said, “Anyone who leave litter in these woods will be prosecuted(依法处置)!”

My father is now in his late forty but looks young for his age. He is very strict with me, especial in my studies. However, I know he loves me deeply in his heart. Once I fail to do well in my math exam, I was afraid of that it would make my father disappointing. On the contrary, he said I had tried my best and offered him a few word of encouragement. He said to me, “There is no need to feel bad about one or two failures and most important thing is to learn anything from failure and never give up.” Today is Father’s Day and I want to say thank you for my father.

Dear Tom,
In your e-mail you ask me about how to choose a university based on its location. If you choose an university in your country, you may be have more chances to go back home visit your parents. Also, it easy for you to adapt to the new environment. After all, there’s not much different between different cities in the same country.
If they intend to go to a university out of your country, you’ll have different experiences. Live in a strange country can strengthen your ability to adapt to a new situation, which is of great benefit to you. Beside, the new experiences in a new place enables you to broaden your horizons and enrich your knowledge.

I’m very glad to have received the letter you sent me two weeks before. I have been thought about the question raised in your letter. In my opinion, you should go back after you finish your studies at abroad. For one thing, that you are studying is badly needed nowadays in our country. It will be quite easily for you to find a good job. In fact, I know that a few big company in our city hope to hire people like you. For another, I think it will be more convenient for you look after your parents because they are getting older and older. And this is only my point of view. It is up to me to make a right choice.
