Hello, Peter. I’m very grateful for your concern about my coming exam. To tell you truth. I have been busy prepare for the exam recently. Some classmates are facing real stressed due to the exam, but I don’t take them so seriously. I always learn in a relaxing mood and I’m making a great progress. Now that I had tried my best, it doesn’t matter much to me what the result is.
In my opinion, we should keep a good balance among our study, rest or exercise. I believe we can be succeeded if we prepare for the exam in a proper way.
I’d appreciate it if you could give me some good advices.

The saying that practice makes perfect mean that after you have plenty of practice in what you were doing，you will be perfect in it．If you want improve your study and work，remembering that the most important thing is how to put the knowledge you have learned into practice．For example，when learning a language，though you can make full use for your talent，practice is necessary．If you only learn grammar rules by the heart and don’t do enough exercise，it’s certain that you can’t understand the language perfectly．But if you real practise a lot，maybe you will understand them much better．In this way，you can apply that you have learned better．

Yesterday morning，I was surprising to hear that my best friend Allee has been hit by a car and was in hospital．The other day when he was going to cross a street，he was such careful that he didn’t go until he saw the traffic light to turn green．But hardly had he got to the middle of the street while he saw a car suddenly appear on his right-hand side and come directly towards them．It was too late for Allee to escape．He was hit by the car or was thrown a few meters away．He was sent to the nearest hospital immediately and had operation．When I went to see him，he was out of dangers but still looked pale．I sincere hope he will recover and return to normal as soon as possible．

Nowadays, there is a increasing number of people joining in the activities of volunteering. It’s well-known that volunteering jobs are making contributions to society with something in return. It’s as the Spirit of Lei Feng. However, knowing this, there are still many people would like to devote themselves to this trend. For instance, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games had such many volunteers. They make lots of contributions to the success of the Olympics. Moreover, we can often see many students go to visit the old to take warm to them. Even though some people’s career is a volunteer. They are ready to helping others. On behalf of our school, I would like to express our warm welcome to you. We are luck to have you here in middle of our English Week Activities.
As planning, we have English Talent Show today. The purpose of this program was to develop our interest in English learning and practically abilities in listening and speaking. The program consists in the following activity: recitation, singing, word spelling, story telling and so on. The show will begin at two o’clock this afternoon at the Student Centre. Dear guests, we are welcome to take part in some activities. I hope we students will be benefit from your presence but I sincerely wish you a pleasant time with us. Thank you.
