Dear Jim,
I am so exciting that you will come to China．I will free from December 18 and will have a plenty of time to be together with you．I'll meet you at the airport and then you will take Bus No．8 for my home．You worry about the weather here in your email．In fact, the weather here is quite different from it in your city．It isn't very cold, but you needn't bring many clothes with you．During your stay here, I'll take you to some places of interests and you can taste some local snacks．I am sure we will have greatly fun together.

How nice to hear of you! In your letter you asked me how to keep healthy. I would like to give you some advices.
As we all know, foods like fish, fresh fruit and vegetables is necessary for our body. And you should not eat too many meat. Instead of study all the time, you should take physical exercise as regular as possible. For example, you can play basketball or swim after the school. What’s more, have enough sleep is very important. So I advise you have at least eight hours of sleep every day but not to stay up too late. Only in this way can we keep healthy.

It was raining. In his way home from school Peter saw an old man walking with difficult in the rain without a umbrella. Peter went up to him and offered share the umbrella with him. The old man in poor health, so Peter tried to hold the umbrella. But he was so short to hold it high enough. While wondered what to do, he saw the old man's stick and had an idea. He had tied the stick to the handle of the umbrella and made them longer. Now we shared the umbrella. Peter was happy.

Three weeks ago I bought the electronic dictionary at a shop. But I hadn't used it for several day while I found it didn't work. So I went to the shop, but only to be told that the problem could not be solved unless it was sent back the factory where it was made .Then I did as I was told without any delay. Unfortunately, the factory promised to repair the dictionary and sent it back in a week. Two weeks has past, but I haven't yet received one. l have no idea ,why things are like this. I'm looking forward to receive my dictionary as soon as possible.
Recently I have been quarrel ling about my mother over whether I can watch TV after the school. She holds the view that Senior Three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lesson. It seem to her that I am allowed to watch TV, I won’t be able to control me and I’ll forget all about my studies. She also thinks that it is bad to my eyes. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day’s hard work. Besides, it is important for me to know what had happened both at home and abroad. However, I shouldn’t be forbidden to watch TV.

This summer holiday, which I’m looking forward for, is coming. What great fun that it is to go fishing! Play football is one of my hobby. I can ride my bike, climb high mountains, and go swimming. Sometimes I can play chess with your grandfather. How interested my holiday will be! But my father was always afraid I might be hurt: drop from water, fall off a tree, hurt by a truck or something. But if I’m careless enough, how will these things happen? I must try best to persuade him.
