Anna and I have been good friends when we were children. Two years ago, her family got into trouble because a terrible accident. To cheer her up, I always try my best to help her.
One day she said she would invite us to have lunch. I began to worry: she had no money, and if I offered to pay, I would hurt her. We arrived at a restaurant, where was small but seemed nice and quiet. She paid for only one meal and we were started to enjoy the delicious food together. She told me that the restaurant let people work for the meal if they had no money.
Life cannot be easy for us, but we can still do anything for our friends. The world will be nice if everybody would like to share happiness with others.

After school, I was about to enter into my apartment when I saw a little dirty dog lie beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me of sympathy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and a bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company. Looked at the cute and happy dog today, I realize that I was right to help him. I offered him a shelter and he brought ourselves great happiness and laughter.

How often does your child pick up a book, a magazine, and other printed materials simply for the pleasure of read? Experts say a young person’s interest in independent reading seem to be important to long-term success.
However, not all children will natural love reading. So what should parents do? First, understanding independent reading is not guided or sharing reading. You may be present in the room with your child, but will not be engaged to reading the book for your child. Instead, the child should pick up a book on his or her own, if he or she can read all the words or not. Then, set a good example for your child by becoming an independent reader yourself. If possibly, build your child’s personal library.

Dear Peter,
I am writing to ask that you are able to do me a favor. I want to have a pen friend, hopefully, a girl in her early twenties, and with interests similarly to mine. In my mind, he is someone interesting in traveling, swimming, and playing table tennis. However, it would be better for her to have a pet dog as I have been kept one at home for some time. With such a pen friend, I hope I can share with her our experiences in traveling, taking care pets, or whatever we have in common. I believed I will improve my English by doing so and learn more about her countries. I am looking forward to hear from you soon.
