A Frenchman is once visiting London. He wished to take a walk to see a city. But he was afraid he might get being lost because he knew no words of English. So after he left his hotel, he stopped on the first corner and carefully copied in his notebook the names of the street where he was staying. Then he walked on. At last, he got lost. In several hours he found a policeman .The Frenchman tried his best to explain the policeman that he didn’t know the name of his hotel, and he knew the name of the street. Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years. It came sudden and went on for over three hours. After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest. The air was hot, but all was quiet. Then a strong wind started to blow into my room. Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window. As I ran out to catch it, big drop of rain began to fall. When I come back into my house, it was raining more harder and harder. Then I heard a loud sound from the back of the house. It is good to see that today a great amount of people have realized the importance of exercising.
But the problem is whether there are not enough sports facilities to meet the growing demand. I love playing basketball and often play with my friends on weekends. Therefore, it is difficult to rent a basketball field and impossible to find a free one. It seems that all courts in the city were always full of people. Weather permitted, we can play outdoors. But on rainy days or in winter we have to turn to indoor courts. There are not much in my city, and the charge is expensive. It is my strongly recommendation the government should build more public sports facilities, so easier accesses will encourage more people to participate sports.
