A few months after returning the US from Germany, I took part in a college course in French. Since I have learned to speak German well in Germany, I thought that it might be interested to begin studying another language. At the first class, a teacher asked us to do a pronunciation exercise, in which he would say a word or two in French, and each student would do their best to copy. When he got to me, he kept having me to say more words, but I finally asked him why. "I find it great funs. It's the first time I've heard an American speak French in a German accent." he explained it.

Dear Smith,
I have a good news for you. All senior three students will take part in a mountain- climbing activity in May 18th, which is intending to help reduce our pressure from study. So I’m written to invite you to go along.
We plan to gather at the school gate at 8:20, weather permitting. Then they will set off at 8:30, heading for the mountains nearby on feet. After having a good time, we are supposed to go back school for lunch at about 12.

Yesterday morning I became the first to come to classroom, and to my surprising, I found my bench broken. As there was everybody around at that time, I immediately changed bench with Li Kang, of whose seat was just behind mine. Five minutes late, Li Kang came in. Seen the broken bench, he could do nothing but stand listening to the teacher during the first class. When the class over, he carried it out and began to repair it by himself. My face suddenly turned red and I kept silent in my seat. You can never imagine how regretfully I felt for that I had done.

I often go to a weekend school. So did many of my classmates. This seems popular among students. Good weekend schools have excellent teachers which help us improve our studies. Besides, we get to know students from another schools and learn about their campus of life.
So every coin has two sides. Our school work is already a heavy burden. Extra lesson often take up too much of our time. In addition, pay lots of attention to the extra lessons will affect their school subjects. We may also find ourselves very tired on Mondays to concentrate on the lessons in our own school.. We should think seriously about this issue and make best use of our time.
