I have been planning to join in our college basketball team next year. Now I’m spending as more
time as I can with other people who likes to play. They are teaching themselves the most important
rule and techniques of the game, but I am getting better all the time. We have a neighborhood team
that plays against other teams in the area. One of my neighbors is helping rest of us improved our
skills. Tonight we are playing for one of the best teams in the city, and I think we can beat them if we

In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid visit to my uncle there. It’s a long and bored journey. But the moment I arrived, I fall in love with the city. Today I'd like to tell you something that I experience in the City Park. In the afternoon of last Sunday, my friend and I were taking a walk along a river in the City Park, when suddenly we heard a boy call for help in the river. We jumped into the river or pulled the boy out. Then we made him to breathe using the mouth－to－mouth way.Before the boy came to himself, we sent her to hospital at once and telephoned his parents.The boy was saved. After failing in the exam，my life got such dark that I didn't want to study any more. I always hid myself in his bedroom and cried quietly. In my family，I felt I am never important. I was not allowed to watch TV，using the computer or go out unless permitted. What's more，I had to stay in the study except when having meals. I almost lost my heart.

Last Saturday the student of our class made a bike trip to Furong, a small town by the Nanxi River. We set off earlier in the morning. After get to the town, we visited some places of interest. At noon, we had a picnic near the river. Everybody is attracted by the beautiful scenery but we took a lot pictures. In the afternoon, some of them went fishing, some flew kites, and the others rowed boats on the water. We both had a wonderful time! It was a pleasant trip for us, during which the boys were offered the girls a lot of help. We have learned to help, understanding and share with others.
