Jim is one of my closely friends. Two months ago, his mother bought a computer to him as a birthday present. She hoped Jim will study hard with the help of the computer. My grandmother is a village woman. She is already in her seventy. Although she received little school education, but she is aware that knowledge is of great important to young people. When my father was young, my grandmother took good care him so that my father could cost more time on his studies. Now, she often encouraged me to study hard. This summer she was bad ill in bed. When I visited her during the summer holiday, I found her sitting in bed, made new shoes for me! I was so deeply moving that tears came to my eyes. So is my grandmother, a kind and hardworking woman. Many times when I was at a bad mood I shouted at the people around me. I scream, shouted and ran as fast as I could relieve my pressure. So it was useless,since I still had to return to the problem. This term I begin to change. I have realized however greater the difficulty is, I have to face with it. It’s no use screaming andshouting at others. Beside, there are teachers and friends around me who are ready tohelping me. As long as I try my best, I can make a progress in any aspect. Now I feel every day is a pleasant day and the sun is always shining bright on my face.

One afternoon, while I was doing my homework, then suddenly I heard someone knocking at the door. I rose my head, looking out of the window to see who it was. A man of about 50 broad shoulders and glasses were standing on the door steps. He was tall, wearing in an old army coat. He grew a wild beard. A big black hat was pulling forward over his eyes so that it was hard to see her face clearly. His shoes were old but worn out. It was a big hole in one of his socks. He had with him a black box in one hand. Only after I took a few more closer looks at him I recognize that he was my neighbor ten years ago.
