Recently, the phenomenon of teen obesity has made a lot of parents concerning. Why are teens getting fatter and fatter?
In my opinion, there are two reasons of the problem.Firstly, because the popularity of TV and computers and students having such much homework to do, they are getting little exercise than before. Secondly, because people’s quality of life has been gotten better and better, families can afford to buy many foods, that might make the kids overweight.
In order to lose weight and stay healthy, teens should avoid spend too much time in front of the TV or the computer and do more exercise. As the saying go, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” They should also eat a more balanced diet such as fruits, vegetables, less fast food and junk food. Last but not the least, they should make a proper time schedule so that they can balance their exercise and studies.

Last Saturday, mom and I went to buy a down jacket for my grandpa. While we got to a big store, we saw down jackets of vary colours and styles. There were so many of them that it spent us quite a while to decide which one to buy. Finally, under the help of the shop assistant, we selected a black thick jacket for grandpa. Immediately, we returned back home to show it to my grandpa. Seeing it, he was very happy and couldn’t wait to put it on. But we were annoying to find something was wrong with the zipper. Hurriedly, I took it back to the store and explained the shop assistant the problem. To my satisfactions, she is very kind and helped me choose another one patiently. Last February, I was on holiday in Beijing with my family. One morning, I was sleeping soundly while I was woken up by a suddenly cry of my sister, “It’s snowing.” I got up quickly, dressed me and opened the window. Wow, I couldn’t believe in my eyes. Everything including trees, roofs and grass were covered with thick snow. In distance I saw lots of cars, like small white box, moving slowly on the road. I also saw some lovely birds flying happily in the snow. How a beautiful sight! I became exciting because I had never seen snow before. In no time, I ran out with my camera and take many photos to record my first experience of snow.
