Our hearts will be full with respect at the mention of a mother’s love. Truly, who can love you more than your dear mother does in world? Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years. It came sudden and went on for over three hours. After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest. The air was hot，but all was quiet. Then a strong wind started to blow into my room. Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window. As I ran out to catch it, big drop of rain began to fall. When I come back into my house, it was raining more harder and harder. Then I heard a loud crashing sound from the back of the house. When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties．The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese．My teacher advised me to keep diaries．I followed her advices．Happily it worked．Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. One day I wrote a short story and showed to my teacher．She liked it very much that she read it to the class．Everyone said the story was the good one, I was great encouraged by their words．

During the summer holidays in this year, I thought I should do something meaningful instead of staying at home. So I got a job at the KFC fast food restaurant and working there as a cleaner. I worked seven hour a day for three weeks.
The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, which made me tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stuck to it with determination.
Every day I started off from work early in the morning and got home later in the evening. Finally I finished the job until the new term began.
Now, I understand that labor means. I think it is really a successful experience.
