It was Sunday yesterday. But Sally and I decided to visit the Xi’an Zoo, where is only four kilometres from our school. At nine in the morning, we waited the bus at the bus stop. After 15 minutes or so, we got on the No. 10 bus excited. On arrival, we find the zoo crowding with people, students, workers , villagers and so on. Most of them was young parents with his children. There were many kinds of animals in the zoo. They were elephants, bears, lions, monkeys and the beautiful birds. Children liked the monkeys very much. At 12 o’clock, we returned back home. What good time we had at the zoo!

Dear Mary,
I’m writing to asking for your advices on how to get along with my
roommate Rose .I find really difficult to share a room with a person who do not
act like a girl.
My roommate has much bad habits in everyday life.She is quite wild and
always makes noise while we are sleeping. Besides, she usually throws
rubbish everywhere,that makes our room a dirty place.I’m really boring with
it.
I have talked about her many times and have tried my best to help her get
rid of the bad habits. And it seems that there is no hope that I will succeed in

I was used to feel sleepy in class and couldn’t focus on the lessons the teachers give. As a result, not only did I do bad in my studies, but also my health went from bad to worse, about which I was often scolded by my parents. I was also annoying about my situation. About half a year ago, followed the head teacher’s advice, I began to participate in some sport activities and kept on playing basketball for 45 minutes and so every day till today. Now my health has been greatly improved, so at the same time, I’ve made good progress in all my lessons. Physical exercise has changed me into an entire new person!
Last year, my school organized table tennis competition for all fourth-year students. I had never played on a proper table tennis court ago, or against such good players. In the first match I was against Wang Peng, who uses a special bat to hit the balls really hard. It came over the net so fast that he hardly saw it. I never stopped running and jumping, and soon I was out of my breath and had very little energy leaving. 1 was sure if Wang Peng would easily beat me, but then, sudden, he stopped. He received an injury to his right ankle, but he needed treatment from the school nurse. I won!
