Home can be a great place for children to study. It’s important to provide a workspace of their own where they can read books or just write a letter to their friends。
●Location(位置)
Kitchen and dining room are not so well suited for regular study, since books and pens get in the way of the day-to-day uses of those areas. Set up a place where a child can settle in and leave papers and pens at band without having to clear everything away each night. For a child that likes being alone, set aside a corner of his bedroom, but keep it separate from things like games, music and other hobbies not related to studying。
●Keeping Things in Order
Parents should encourage their child to spread out, but to leave it neat and orderly when he isn’t using his workspace. Ownership is very important for self-respect .
The workplace should be personal, but not another part of the playroom。
●
Encourage the whole family to help build a supportive environment that children need for success in school. Give them a good example of how to deal with problems, how to manage time and get things done in the right way.
● Study will be more enjoyable and effective when supported by the whole family。

Our spiritual intelligence quotient(精神智商), or SQ, helps us understand ourselves, and live fuller, happier lives.
While we’re all born with SQ, most of us aren’t even aware that we have it. Fortunately, you don’t have to sign up for classes to learn how to improve your SQ. Here are some simple steps that can lead you to this new level of understanding. The process of developing spiritual(精神的) intelligence(智力) begins with solitude(独处) and silence. To tune in(调整) to your spirit, you have to turn down the volume in your busy, noisy, complicated(复杂的) life and force yourself to do nothing at all. Start small by creating islands for silence in your day. In the car, instead of listening to the music, use the time to think. At work, shut the door to your office between meetings, take a few breaths and let them out very, very slowly.
Step Outside. For many people, nature sets their spirit free. If you are walking with the dog, take the time to admire flower in bloom; follow the flight of a bird and watch clouds float overhead.
Find an Activity You Enjoy. It’s important to find a hobby that helps you tune in to your spirit. Garden, walk or jog, arrange flowers, listen to music that touches your soul.Ask open-ended questions, such as “What am I feeling? What are my choices? Where am I heading?”
But don’t expect an answer to arrive through some super-natural form of e-mail. “Rarely do I get an immediate answer to my question.” says Reverend Joan Carter, a Presbyterian minister(长老会牧师) in Sausalito, California. “But later that day I suddenly find myself thinking about a problem in a perspective(角度) I never considered before.”While most of us rely on gut(本能的) feeling to realize danger, spiritual intelligence pushes us, not away from, but towards some action that will lead to a greater good.

What is a dream?
For centuries, people have wondered about the strange places that they seem to visit in their sleep. However, they have been valued as necessary to a person's health and happiness.
Historically people thought dreams contained messages from God. It was only in the twentieth century that people started to study dreams scientifically believing that they tell about a person's character. He believed that dreams allow a person to express fantasies or fears, which would be socially unacceptable in real life.
The second theory to become popular was Carl Jung's compensation theory. Jung, a former student of Freud, said that the purpose of a dream is not to hide something, but rather to communicate it to the dreamer. Thus, people who think too highly of themselves may dream about falling; those who think too little of themselves dream of being heroes.
Using more recent research, William Domhoff from the University of California found that dreaming is a mental skill that needs time to develop in humans. Until they reach age five, they cannot express very well what their dreams are about. Once people become adults, there is little or no change in their dreams. The dreams of men and women differ. For instance, the characters that appear in the dreams of men are often other men, and often involve physical aggression.
The meaning of dreams continues to be difficult to understand. If you dream that a loved one is going to die, do not panic. The dream may have meaning, but it does not mean that your loved one is going to die.

If you do not use your arms or your legs for some time, they become weak; when you start using again, they slowly become strong again. Everybody knows this, and nobody would think of questioning the fact. ________ When someone says that he has a good memory, he really means that he keeps his memory in practice by exercising it regularly, either consciously or unconsciously. Good student-teacher relationships result from the choices that are made even before school, and how those choices are carried out on a daily basis. Here are a few tips to make this process easier for both parties.
___
For the teacher, this means that they need to look at each student from the perspective(角度) of what that student could learn, rather than what that student learned last week or last year. Demand the best.
____ We can trust friends to keep us responsible and when developing good student-teacher relationships, the same principle of trust applies. Setting high expectations always pushes us to be our best, and when both the student and the teacher are pushing the other for more depth, more wisdom, more insight, etc, then both the student and the teacher will give more.
