The other day I buy a pair of leather shoes in a shoe shop. The seller told me he would give “three guarantees” for the shoes. And only four days later, the shoes worn out. So I was angry and returned to the shop hoped to get my money back. I told the seller what had been happened to the shoes. When she knew that I had kept the shoes for four days, he refused, to which I was surprised. I asked him why he didn’t keep his promises. “Do you understand the ‘three guarantees’?” the seller said. “It means the shoes can only be kept in three days!” How a foolish explanation of the “three guarantees”!

Mr. Turner turned over in bed from time to time in last night, for he was very excited that he could not fall asleep. When he got to the company, he found there were many people waiting there and he had no ideas whether he could get the job. While waiting, he helps the workers there to remove the fallen trees and clear the road. Unluckily, he was the only one who finally got the job, so the manager decided to give the job to whoever he believed was helpful.

Last Saturday the students of our class made a bike trip to a small town by the Taihu Lake. We set off earlier in the morning. After getting to the town, we visit some places of interest. At noon, we had picnic near the town. Everybody was attracted by the beautifully scenery and we took a lot of picture there. In the afternoon, some of us went fishing, some rowed boats on the water, but others flew kites. We both had a wonderful time! John and Tom are friends. One day, they went into forest for a trip. They were enjoying the beauty of nature when they saw a bear coming at them. All of them were very frightened.
