My swimming experience is extreme interesting. There was a time when I swim like a rock.This went on till one day when I was fishing with a friend of mine at nearby pond. I was so much careless that I slipped into one. Had my friend not come to my rescue, I would have be drowned. Ever since then, I have come to know the importance of learn to swim. I didn’t go to any training class but learned it all by me. Now I have no difficult swimming at all . Though the way I swim looks clumsy ,at least it can keep me floating. Thinking of this, I feel quite satisfying.
A survey basing on 1,000 students found that half of the pupils and 80% of the middle school students sleeps less than nine hours every night. Too many homework given by school teachers and parents is the main reasons. Other reason lies in students’ bad habits. Some students, for example, are absent-minded while doing his homework, and some waste their after-class time. The third reason is because some students have to get up early on weekdays to get school far away from home. Experts are calling at schools and parents to cut down on the amount of homework. And students should make a good use of their time. And it would be better if they could choose to study in a nearby school.

My grandfather and me enjoy fishing.
One Sunday morning we go fishing at a lake. We took ours fishing poles and headed for the lake. As soon as we arrived, so we dropped the lines into the water. Before waiting for half an hour, I was beginning to get impatiently. I wanted to give up, and my grandfather told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there came a sudden pull at the pole and fish was caught. Within the next few minute, my grandfather also caught a fish.
Feeling hungry, we built a fire by the lake over which we cooked the fish. It was tasted good.

I’m Wang Lin. I’m a senior 3 student who take the College Entrance Exam soon. Now I have a problem in choosing my major. My parents want me to study international business. Therefore, my head teacher suggests that I chose software engineering. As for me, I have a total different idea from them. I want to take environmental science for my major so that I can use that I have learned to help improving the environment in my hometown after the graduation. But can I possibly make a decision on my own against the will of my parents and my teacher? I’m writing to you for my opinion. Would you please spare some time to give me some advices?
