Lin Qiaozhi, lived from 1901 to 1983, was a specialist in women’s diseases. She lived in a generation that girls’ education was second to boys’. It was hard work and determination which got her into medical school. What made her success later on was the kindness and consideration she showed to her patients. There is story after story of how she, tiring after a day’s work, went late at night to deliver a baby for a poor family who could not pay for her. there necessary to employ foreign teachers in middle school?” Some
students believe that some schools hire foreign teacher just to improve their
reputation and actually it is not necessary at all. In the contrary, there is the
opinion that foreign teachers can encourage the students to get more involved
in English learning, especial in improving their oral skills.
In my opinion, foreign teachers are very necessary because todaythe student’s
oral English are becoming more and more important. With foreign teachers,
not only can we learn English from them, but we can make friends from them
and share with our experiences. Schools can benefit from foreign teachers, too.
I went hiking to a mountain with my friend last summer. It was a good trip in the beginning and something unexpected happened halfway. One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn’t move any far. Nobody knew how to deal it. One girl tried to call her mum over her mobile phone, but there is no signal in the mountain area. Lucky we had brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him to rest in it. After taken some pills, he drank some water and ate some food. After a while, I felt much better and we walked on. We all enjoyed us on the top of the mountain.
