Last Sunday my father and I went fishing along a river. We found the water very dirty that we could hardly catch any fish in it. A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straightly into the river, which made the river polluting. In this way most of the fish in the river was killed. Unless the rivers all over the country are polluted like this, no living things will be exist in the water. As we all know, environmental pollution do great harm to living things and human beings. I’m a senior 3 student. The college entrance exams are in the way and everyone around us is trying their best to help me. At school, all the teachers work very hardly, encouraging us to build up our confidence. Wherever we meet with difficulties, they are ready to come to our help. Meanwhile, our school also did a lot for us. For example, the library stays open up in the evenings. At home, we are also taken well care of and our parents often tell us to have good rest. Mistakes are something did, said or believed, as a result of wrong thinking or understanding, lack of knowledges or skills. No one is perfect, but no one makes no mistake. Because many people are afraid of making mistakes, we don’t believe, say or do much. They behaved like this just because they want to make no mistake. As I said, it’s impossible. Being afraid of making mistakes is mistake itself. Only through mistakes can there be discover or progress. Making mistakes for seeking truth is much more better than doing nothing. Mistakes are the best teachers which guide us through difficulties. Don’t let mistakes scare you. Let’s learn on mistakes.

As we know, when senior students finish their school, most of their reference books are thrown away, which are still in good condition. How a great waste it is!
I suggest that students must recycle all these books. On the one hand, recycling them can save a lot of natural resource, which are used to make textbooks. On the other hand, the notes in the books are helpful to whoever need them.
In fact, recycling textbooks has been increasing popular in such countries like America and Australia. We should learn from them, but make every effort to build energy-saving society. In my opinion, it is of much benefit from our present and our future.

It has been ten years since I graduate from high school. Last week, I informed of a classreunion held by our monitor unexpected. Dear Diary,
Here I am in the middle of a city, 350 miles far away from our farmhouse. Do you want to know why we move last week? Dad lost his job and as Mom explained, “He was lucky to find other one.” His new job meant I had to say goodbye to my classmate, my school, or just everything else I love in the world. To make matters bad, now I have to share a room with my younger sister, Maggie. Tomorrow is first day of school. I am awfully tiring, but I know I will never fall sleep.
Good night and remember, you, dear diary, is my only souvenir from my past life and my only friend.
