Christine was just a girl in one of my classes. I never knew much about her except for that she was strange. She didn’t talk many. Her hair was black and purple, and she worn black sports shoes and a black sweater, although in the summer. She was, in fact, rather attractively, and she never seemed care what the rest of us thought about her. Like the rest of my classmate, I didn’t really want to get closed to her. It was only when we did their chemistry project together that I begin to understand why Christine dressed the way she did .

Last evening, I went to teahouse with my best friend Susan. Before the tea was serving, we talked to each other happily. When the waiter went to us with the tea, we didn’t see him. Unfortunately, Susan rose her hand to comb her hair just while the waiter bent to put the plate on the table. His hand hit the cup, and the tea was spattered (溅) on her trousers. In my surprise, instead of complaining, Susan smiled, “So lucky that it’s not on my shirt, and I can’t even clean it.” Her words were very inspired. We cannot foresee what will happen, but looking at it in a positive way can make us be happy.
When we learn English, we always find we have difficulties in remembering the names of the months. He was a strange god because he has two faces. He could look in the two directions. He could look forward or backward at the same time. He was the god of endings and beginnings. As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse other than better. Our life and health have affected greatly. The earth is our home, but we have a duty to take care of it, not only for ourselves but for future generations. Fortunate, more and more people have become aware of this problem. Many effectively measures have been taken by the government to deal with them.
As a student, I think we should do what we can improve the environment. First, go to school on feet or by bike as often as possible. Second, turn on the lights and other electrical appliances before leaving the room. Third, never throw rubbish here and there.
