It’s very kind for you to write me and let me know about your beautiful city. Now I’d like tell you something about my hometown Zhengzhou. The city stood on the bank of the Yellow River. It is a beautiful place for people to live in. Its economy has been developing rapid in the past ten years. New factories, houses and roads have built. More schools and hospitals are available for its people. Therefore, there is still some problems, such as air pollution and heavy traffic in rush hours. In my opinion, Zhengzhou should develop their economy scientifically. I would also think that the growth of its population should be bring under the control so that we’ll have a better hometown in future.

I firmly believe that everyone in the world loves his mother. So am I. My mother is an ordinary teacher. She always works hardly, just as other mothers do every day. In fact, she isn’t good health. She had been suffering from arthritis for many years. In spite of this, he never stops working or gives up hope. I still remember the day that my mother accepted a card of congratulations for Teachers’ Day from her director. The card was read “Thank you for your hard works; Happy Teachers’ Day to you!” At that moment, I was so moving that tears came to my eyes. I’m proud of my mother.

After school, I was about to enter into my apartment when I saw a little dirty dog lie beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me of sympathy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and a bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company.
Looked at the cute, happy dog today, I realize that I was right to help him. I offered him a shelter but he has brought ourselves great happiness and laughter.

This morning I got up early and went to school as usually, only to find there were nobody in the classroom because it is Sunday. "How a bad memory I have!" I couldn't help laughing. Recently, our school has held the meaningful discussion on whether it is reasonable for middle school students to have classes on weekends. Some of our classmates believe we should have classes on weekends because we can make fully use of free time to review the lessons we had learnt. Some others are against the opinion, saying we had better to have a good rest on weekends so that we can work effective during the weekdays. The rest agree with neither of the opinion. They have the view which keeping the balance between work and play are important for us. Last summer I went on holiday to Canada. I thought it must be an amazed place but everything seemed to go wrong with myself. Firstly, the weather was awful. It rained every day but it was terribly cold. The hotel which I stayed was noisy and dirty and also very expensive. During I was out walking one day my wallet and some other thing were stolen. When I go to the police they said they couldn’t do anything about it.
Fortunate, I had a credit card in my room so I could pay the rest of my holiday. This year I’m staying at the home!
