Once I had to read a text-book which was so expensive for me to buy it. I couldn’t obtain it from the library and an only copy I could find was in a certain bookshop. So I will go along to the shop every afternoon and read a little of the book in a time. One day, therefore, I was disappointed to find the book missing from its usually place. He was about to leave when the owner of the shop waved at me. Expecting to be told off, I went towards him. To my surprise, the owner pointed to the book which placed in a corner. “I put it there in case it should be bought.” He said kindly, left me to continue my reading.

Nowadays, the majority of students prefer to using electronic dictionaries because they considered electronic dictionaries smart and convenient to carry. Besides, it has many other potential function, such as taking photos, calculating, playing music, getting on line and play games. However, others hold total different views, saying printed dictionaries are equipped with a large vocabulary. And more detailed examples are given when the electronic dictionaries provide limited information. However, the printed dictionaries cost much less than electronic ones. Personally, I prefer electronic dictionary because it not only serve as a dictionary but also a calendar, media player, camera and timekeeper.

How are you doing? I wonder what you could sell some Chinese knots for me. I made it myself with red silk threads, cloth and other materials. They look real beautiful in the shape of a diamond, about 5 inch long and 4 inches wide. In the China, these knots stands for friendship, love and good luck. People can either give them as gifts to friends hang them in their houses. They are only 12.99 US dollars each. If anyone wants to know more about the knots, let them write for me. How time flies! We will have to say goodbye after a week, but I will never forget the beautiful days when we spent together. In my memory, you are such kind a person that you will always offer me help wherever I get into trouble. You are the most considerate person who know exactly what I need in our class.
Do you still remember that night twenty years ago? When I suddenly fell ill, you carried me to nearest hospital. Moreover, you attended to me careful while I was staying in hospital. Later, you managed to help me with my lesson. Without your help, I can not have passed the exam. Though we are parting soon, but I will keep the favors you’ve ever done me in mind.

Last Saturday the students of our class made a bike trip to a small town by the Tai hu Lake. We set off earlier in the morning. After getting to the town, we visit some places of interest. At noon, we had picnic near the town. Everybody was attracted by the beautifully scenery and we took a lot of picture there. In the afternoon, some of us went fishing, some rowed boats on the water, but others flew kites. We both had a wonderful time! It was a pleasant trip for them, during which the boys were offered the girls a lot of help. We have learned to help, understand and sharing with others. In a word, we have got quite a lot from it.
