I often go to a weekend school. So did many of my classmates. This seems popular among students. Good weekend schools have excellent teachers which help us improve our studies. Besides, we get to know students from another schools and learn about their campus of life.
So every coin has two sides. Our school work is already a heavy burden. Extra lesson often take up too much of our time. In addition, pay lots of attention to the extra lessons will affect their school subjects. We may also find ourselves very tired on Mondays to concentrate on the lessons in our own school.. We should think seriously about this issue and make best use of our time.

How is everything going with you?
I’ve been in Russia for two months. This is the first time that I’ve been away my family for such a long time. With the help of Katia, a roommate of me, I soon get used to live without my parents around. Katia, like many other Russian girls, are nice and lively. We became friend shortly after we met each other. Although her English is a little hardly to understand, we enjoy chatting and we usually talk a lot about our own family. We’re both surprising that Chinese culture and Russian culture were so different. Now, we are planning a small party for the next Sunday. There, Katia will introduce me to some of her friends, one of who has been to China several times. I just can’t wait.

On a later summer evening, my father and I was walking happily home. We have just had a big meal in a restaurant near our home. One year ago, I was in great trouble. I work hard at English and devoted all my spare time to practise it. But I failed to pass the mid-term exam, which made me great disappointed. So I asked my grandpa for advice when I got to home. Hearing that I told him, he said, “To some extent, exam results sometime can’t truly reflect your ability. Of all my teachers , Mr. Hu is the one who impress me most. Though he is 54, he looks very young for his age. And he is one of the most popular teacher in our school.
