I just came back from Britain last week . I was luckily enough to be one of the students from different country to visit the UK from Feb .16 to 28 . There are different train ticket for people to choose from when traveled by train. They may want to buy a single ticket and a return ticket. This morning I got up early and went to school as usually, only to find there were nobody in the classroom because it is Sunday. “How a bad memory I have!” I couldn’t help laughing. Great changes have been taken place in my village. Ten years ago, the small and low houses, which lie on the north of a lake, produced much waste. As the result, the lake was serious polluted. To the west was a sandy field, that was the source of dust. Better still, a brickyard on the southwest side of the lake used up a great deal good soil. Now the poor house have been replaced by green trees and the brickyard by tall buildings. The sandy field that the villagers used to ploughing has been covered with fruit trees. On the lake the villagers often spend his spare time boating and fishing.

I like travel very much. I had been to most
of the interested places in Britain already and I just
don’t want other cold English summer. So I’ll go
abroad for change this year. Where I’d like

Last Saturday, our school had organized an activity to visit the children at a local orphanage(孤儿院）.As one of the volunteer, I took part in it. We took many books as well many kinds of school supplies and toys for the children. 1Hiey were delighted to receive the gifts. In the morning, we played some games with them when we used to play in our childhood. Then we cooked and had a lunch there. In the afternoon, we gave them some performances. Before leaving the orphanage，we had photos take with them and gave them our contact details so that they could keep in touch with one another. Each of us had a happily time. We gave the children our care and help，but in return，they gave us their smiles and love.
