Once I wanted to learn swimming .At first I found difficult to control my body. I just sank into the water. I feel very frightened. Then I watched others which were good at it and asked them the key to succeed. I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised. One day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming pool, I sudden found that I could swim. How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before.

Today my classmate and I went to a farm for a trip. I get up at six o’ clock and we set off by bus. On the bus, some of us sang, and some of us talked. We all had good time. Two hours late, we arrived at the gate of the farm, that the farmers were waiting to give us a warm welcome. After we were shown around the big farm, they began to plant trees. It was really a good way to getting close to nature and protect the environment at the same time. Next , we had a picnic and it was great fun to eat on the open air. Finally, we went home at half past four. Although all of us was tired, our trip was really very more unforgettable.

On the contrary, success can bring us sense of pride. If one enjoys his continuous success in his career, he will have confidence to himself. Therefore, failure is the mother of success. A failure doesn’t mean one can never be successfully. Those who are always afraid of failure they will never succeed. In a word, as long as we can get some lessons and experiences from our failure, we’ll be sure to succeed.

It is fine day and I will never forget this special day. I was chosen to be a member of the football team and send to take part in the school football match. I was excited, but believed I would score the most. But in the first round I hurt my leg and couldn't help but to give up. I felt very sad. My best friend Tom comes up to me and said, “You are great! You still played for a few minute even after you leg hurt. You are a true winner.” I couldn't believe my ears. For me the one scoring the most is the winner. But Tom said, “The one which tries his best is the really winner.” Deeply impressing by his words, I want to say “Thank you” to him.

It was 7:15 in the morning of February 8, 2008. I was walking along Park Road towards the east while an old man came out of the park on the other sides of the street. Then I saw yellow car drive up Third Street and made a right turn into Park Road. The next moment the car hit the man while she was crossing the road. He fell with a cry. The car didn’t stop and drive off at full speed heading west. I noticed the driver was a young woman wore a pair of glasses and the plate number was AC864. After two minutes later, I stopped a passing car but took the old man to the nearest hospital.
Last Sunday, it was my father’s funny day. After supper, my father went to see the film. But in our surprise, he came back just about half an hour later. I asked him what was the matter. He smiled and told us about the funny thing what had happened in the cinema. He was sitting in his seat while a woman came to her and said the seat was hers. Surprising, they looked at their ticket carefully, only to find the seats shown in their tickets were the same while the colors were different. So they looked at the tickets carefully. After a while, my father apologized to the woman, saying, “Sorry, I make a mistake. Take this seat, please.” The fact was that his ticket found out under the glass on his desk was for the film a month ago.
