It is fine day and I will never forget this special day. I was chosen to be a member of the football team and send to take part in the school football match. I was excited, but believed I would score the most. But in the first round I hurt my leg and couldn't help but to give up. I felt very sad. My best friend Tom comes up to me and said, “You are great! In the past my hometown was used to be a beautiful place. Thick trees and green grass could be seen in everywhere. In order to build house and grow more crops, people cut down more and more trees. With time went on, the whole forest was almost destroyed. Gradually the green hills have changed into wasteland. As a result, sandstorms struck us now and then, of which we suffer a lot. However, I do hope all the people should realize the terribly result of not caring about our environment. What's more, they should take good care of the forests and plant trees instead cutting them down to improve our living conditions.

A few days ago I saw an instructive program on TV. It was about what the traffic problem in cities. It seems that a great deal of damages is done by traffic．All our cities are suffering from this. Some buildings are actual falling to pieces . It's often fast to walk than to go by car and by bus. The problem has been getting worse day by day．This is only one of the thousands problems in our cities. All sorts of terrible things were happening to our cities. The question is how we can do about it．0ur roads were never designing for such heavy traffic．It is time the government does something about
