Mistakes are common in our life. But attitudes on them may make a difference. I still remember how my spoken English improved. At the beginning, I always kept silently in the oral class to avoid to making mistakes. Before long my teacher knew about my situation. He encouraged me to speak out that I wanted to speak. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and classmates will help me find out how I could avoid it in the future. Practice makes perfect. With time went by, I built up my confidences, and now I can talk fluently in English. Just as saying goes, mistakes are where success lies. We just need to learn a lesson from the mistakes.

SQ3R stand for five steps in the reading process: Survey, Question, Read, Review and Recite. The first step is survey, which helps you to predict how the author is going to say. The second step is question, which means to form questions basing on your survey. The third step is read and note something down. The fourth step is review, which means to go over the text check your understanding and try to answer for all the questions you’ve written down while reading. Dear Headmaster,
I am writing to talk about the canteen of our school. There are only a few stand in the canteen, leading to lots of students have to line up for food. It is waste of time, isn’t it? Today my classmate and I went to a farm for a trip. I get up at six o’ clock and we set off by bus. On the bus, some of us sang, and some of us talked. We all had good time. Two hours late, we arrived at the gate of the farm, that the farmers were waiting to give us a warm welcome. After we were shown around the big farm, they began to plant trees. It was really a good way to getting close to nature and protect the environment at the same time. Next , we had a picnic and it was great fun to eat on the open air. Finally, we went home at half past four. Although all of us was tired, our trip was really very more unforgettable.
