Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds sing. When I was enjoying the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught their eyes. A young couple in a boat was eating, talking and laughing loudly as if they were the only people in the world. Which is worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, total ignoring the noticeable sign “No Littering” nearby. What shame!
Such behavior leaves me deep in thought. If all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did so, the lake will be severely polluted or soon turned into a huge dustbin.

Last evening, I went to teahouse with my best friend Susan. Before the tea was serving, we talked to each other happily. When the waiter went to us with the tea, we didn’t see him. Unfortunately, Susan rose her hand to comb her hair just while the waiter bent to put the plate on the table. His hand hit the cup, and the tea was spattered (溅) on her trousers. In my surprise, instead of complaining, Susan smiled, “So lucky that it’s not on my shirt, and I can’t even clean it.” Her words were very inspired. As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse other than better. Our life and health have affected greatly. Many effectively measures have been taken by the government to deal with them.
As a student, I think we should do what we can improve the environment. First, go to school on feet or by bike as often as possible. Second, turn on the lights and other electrical appliances before leaving the room. Third, never throw rubbish here and there.
