Three years ago I failed a important exam in my life and became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, we found the teachers patient and considerate. Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere on class. I decided to make best of it. I work hard and got along well with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they were not helpful. Soon , I became one of the top student in my class, which greatly increased my confident and got me motivated.
My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make use of it which determines who you are.
As time passing by, young students from all over the world get together at one of the sixteen conservation camps. The aim is to help protecting the countryside and its wildlife.
Many animals and plants are in danger of disappear forever. The dormouse, a kind of mouse, for example, needs woodland plants for food and trees to stay. It’s habitat is being destroyed by man and it needs our help to survive.
Through this activity you will learn about the nature and how to protect it. Our trained leaders will company you and tell you everything what you need to know. Because of this, you needn’t to have any experience, just energy and enthusiasm. You will explore the countryside and work to ensure the survival of hundred of animals and plants.

As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse other than better. Our life and health have affected greatly. The earth is our home, but we have a duty to take care of it, not only for ourselves but for future generations. Fortunate, more and more people have become aware of this problem. Many effectively measures have been taken by the government to deal with them.
As a student, I think we should do what we can improve the environment. First, go to school on feet or by bike as often as possible. Second, turn on the lights and other electrical appliances before leaving the room. Third, never throw rubbish here and there.
It’s time that we do something to protect our environment.

I felt sadly yesterday when our teacher told us something
about Project Hope in class. It has set up to help the
children in the countryside who can't afford to going to
school. After school I come home. I was wondering if I
could do something for the Project then I caught sight
of my money-collecting box on the table. But I made
up my minds to send my pocket money to the children
who wanted to go to school. I wrote with a letter to them and
hurried to the post office. Iposted the money and sent her
best wishes together with the letter to them.
I spent most of my summer holidays travel in London. I arrived there in middle of July. After reaching my sister’s apartment I got many sleep. The next day I went to St Paul’s Cathedral, an amazing monument, that was well worth a visit. After take some photos in front of it, I moved on to the Tate Modern art gallery. There is an excellent exhibition of oil paintings and sculptures by some famous British artist. For dinner we went to the Ivy, a very beautifully restaurant. The food was good but the atmosphere was nice. It was a great day of sightseeing and one that would never be forgotten it.
I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamedthat I took part in a race. At first, I could not to run very fast and fell behind. So I didn’t lose heart and keptrunning. All the students on the playground cheer me on, “ Come on!” I was so encouraging that I ran faster and fast till I caught up all the other runners. I felt as if flying like a superman. In the end, I got to the finishing line first.I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmate threw me up into the air. Just at that timeI woke up and found me still in bed!
