Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools and some foreigners often took part. Gather around here, we practise spoken English by talking about everything we are interested. We also exchange my experience in English study. We all have a good time here. Thousands of people have been here when it was set up.
We think that they have learned a lot by taking part in activity here. It is a really supplement to our English class and it is welcome by students, their parents and teachers. They all think it is of helpful. If you want to know much about the corner, you may talk to the students here.

Thank you very much for invite me to your birthday party in Saturday morning. I'd like to come and I have to go to my hometown to see my grandparents. They were very old and unluckily they are not in a good health recently. My mother has already made a telephone calling to them and promised visit them with me this Saturday. My mother said we will stay at my grandparents' home the whole weekend. So I'm real sorry I can't attend your party. I hope you will understand all this. Last weekend, I spent busy but meaningfully days ! I helped my grandparents with their trip in Dalian. On Saturday morning, together with my grandparents, I searched the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Dalian, or some hotel informations. In the afternoon, they went to the train station and managed to buy two tickets for my grandparents though there had a long queue. After dinner, I packed the things into the suitcase, which my grandparents would be need, such as clothes, glasses, an umbrella, and a map. The next morning, I went to station to see them off. Waved goodbye to them on the platform, I felt happy for them and wished them a safe journey.
Now they must be enjoying themselves in Dalian , I thought !

One Tuesday afternoon, we were playing the basketball on the playground while I all of a sudden slipped and fell over. On seeing that, all my classmates rushed to me. With the help of several others students, Li Xiang, one of my best friend put me on his back and headed for the clinic at no time. It turned out that my right ankle got spraining so I had to be sent to hospital. Not until the ambulance arrived he leave. The following day, he came to see me. To my greatly relief, he brought textbooks with them and helped me with my lessons. It was a great pleasure to have such a devoting friend.

It was great to hearing from you. Thanks for the invitation of your birthday party on the 17th. Unlucky, we’re going on the holiday on the 10th and we aren’t coming back until the 20th. I’m afraid there are no way I can go. But I hope you have really good time and enjoy the party.
I’m really exciting about our holiday because we’re going to Sanya! It’s my first time! There will be lot of sun and swimming. I believe it’ll be great!

Anna and I have been good friends when we were children. Two years ago, her family got into trouble because a terrible accident. To cheer her up, I always try my best to help her.
One day she said she would invite us to have lunch. I began to worry: she had no money, and if I offered to pay, I would hurt her. We arrived at a restaurant, where was small but seemed nice and quiet. She paid for only one meal and we were started to enjoy the delicious food together. She told me that the restaurant let people work for the meal if they had no money.
Life cannot be easy for us, but we can still do anything for our friends. The world will be nice if everybody would like to share happiness with others.
