Last weekend my sister went to the supermarket to buy some groceries. Three hours ago, with full bags of goods in both hands, she headed for nearby bus stop, tired and hungry. She was waiting for the bus while it began to rain. After what seemed ages, came a bus, crowded of passengers. When it was her turn to getting on the bus, someone said, “ Sorry, no more rooms.”Quite disappointed, my sister had to take a taxi. Half way home, therefore, the taxi broke down. Hardly had he got out of the taxi when a bus passed by. It was empty, but she had been missed it! What an unluckily day!

Air travel has three advantage over train travel. First, it can save much time. We can fly from one place to other in a short time, but by train we have to spend more time. Second, air travel is more comfortable because the plane flies so smooth that we can have good rest during the trip. Third, the train is crowding sometimes and we have to sit for a long time, what makes us tired. But train travel also has it’s own advantages. For an example, traveling by train cost only a little money. Beside, we can enjoy the view out of the train’s windows.

Although nobody wishes to experience failure, but failure plays an important role on the way to success. Sometimes it can benefit us a lot. When I fail my English exam last time, I felt upset at first, but then I made up my mind work even harder. That failure encouraged me to put more times and energy into learning English. Beside, I found it was my small vocabulary and poor grammar which led to failure. So I changed my learning methods. Finally, I made a great progress in English. Most important, now I have a correct attitude towards failure. It really helped myself to get closer to succeed.

During the summer holiday, I helped my parents did a lot of housework, like cooking, washing and clean the house. At first, I didn’t know what to do these things, but thanks to my mother, I learned a lot of. At the end of each day, when my parents came home after a day’s hard works, they could see clean house and enjoy the dishes I cooked for them. The smile on their face were the best award for my efforts. I felt very happy though exhausting. Helping my parents was challenging and very rewarding. It made my holiday much meaningful.
