Recently our class have had a discussion about if it is necessary for middle school students read English classics. Different students have different opinion. 80% of the students think it necessary to read English classics. By reading classics you can enlarge our vocabulary and improve our reading skills. In addition, we learned a lot about western culture. And 20% of the students don’t think so. In their opinion, English classics are bored and difficult to understand. On my opinion, classics are examples of great writing and wisdom. Reading them can help us improving our English as well as enrich our knowledge. So that we should try to read some classics whenever possible.

Last week we held a heating discussion on which we should do for our school before we graduate. The students in our class have different suggestion. Some students thought that we can collect money to buy some books for the school library or everything else for the schoo1. Others students think that it’s not necessary to spend money. Patience is of great importance in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possible waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience, I’ll think of this experience.

My cousin George and I went on a trip to my uncle last Sunday. We were riding along a hillside then suddenly some big stones were rolled down and knocked us off our bikes. George's legs got seriously injure and so did mine. We couldn't move a bit. Lucky, I saw some farmers ahead. Wave our hands, we cried for help like crazy. On hearing us, they run to the spot as fast as they could. Thanks to their help, we were all sent to a nearby hospital and received medical treatment on time. Although we do not know about their name, we feel they are like our dear big brothers and sisters.
