Our school will set a voluntary service club on April 22nd. The main purpose of it is to call on and organize students to serve for society better and develop our ability to cooperate to others.
The volunteers are required to work at weekends to visit the elderly in the nursing homes in our city, keep public places clean and offer some guidances to the passengers in some stations and so on. The students which are healthy, patience, warm-hearted and willing to help others are welcome to join the club. Music is the universal language to all human beings, it plays a very important part in our life. It can make us life more colourfully and help us to relax ourselves. Without music, our world would be as a wild desert.
There are different variety of music, such as popular music, classical music, country music, jazz music, rap music, but rock music.
Of all the music, I like popular music better. For the one thing, with beautiful melody, it is pleasant to hear; for another, most popular music deals the topics of love and friendship, which appeals to us young people.

I'm very grateful to my English teacher. In the past, my biggest shortcoming used to being carelessness, that worried me a lot. To make matters worse, I was so anxious to seek the fundamental reason in my failure. I just devoted me to huge amounts of practice, not paying attention to repeated mistakes. Fortunately, my teacher noticed it and offers to have a long talk with me. She gave me lots of advices on how to get rid of it. After I was persuading to change my attitude, I finally got the right way to rid myself of carelessness and gained confidence as well as. It was the support she had given me made me what I’m today.

I was once told that the life of senior high school will be quite unforgettable. On the first day I went to my senior high school, I found everything around me was different and strange . Face all things, I was wandering what to do while Mr. Zhang came to me and offered me lots of advices on how to study efficiently and getting along with others. Under the help of him, I successfully ajusted myself to the new environment and had been a top student in my class since then. And now, I’m working hard to make my dream of being admitted into an university come true a year late.

My parents were away last night and I played computer games lately，so when I woke up in a morning．it was already 8 o'clock．I thought I was late at school．I dressed me quickly and hurried out of the house．Then I ran as fast as I could go to my schoo1．I had no time to greet anybody the way．It took me ten minutes to arrive at the schoo1．The whole school was silent and I am afraid to face my teachers and classmate．When I opened the door and apologize for my being late，my English teacher did not blame me but let me went to my seat，and then he continued his lesson．
