Every Saturday night my family and I go out and feed the homeless people in the city of Orlando. There are hundreds of people across the city without any or shelter. We have been doing this for several months. We wanted to see what it was like in the of a homeless person .
One special thing I like to is, my family and I do not eat before we begin our so we know how it feels to be . All of the areas we go to are very , such as Parramore, Gore Street and downtown Orlando. We all get together in the and prepare the food. Some of the meals are sandwiches and cookies and a bottle of water. Sometimes my mom a steaming hot delicious meal. We then them all up to feed 30 or more people. I like to write special on the bag like , “God loves you”.
Before my family and I get into the car , we ask God for protection in a family prayer. A lot of people homeless people. Not all homeless people are drug addicts or people. Some are nice. Some of them just had bad things that to them.
At first, we had to earn their trust, because a lot of people are to them for no good reason. But now that they see us every week they us. We even know some of their names. We all have to remember that these are people that have .
Some of them shake our hands for giving them food. Some of them do really funny dances because they are happy.
After we finished feeding the homeless, it makes me what I have at home. Sometimes it makes me sad, and makes my mom . I love feeding the homeless, and making a(n) in someone’s life.

Growing up, I remember my father as a silent, strict man—not the kind of person around whom one could laugh. As a teenager knowing little about life, I wanted a father who could the mysteries of the human journey. In college, when friends called home for , I would become for what I didn’t have.
Then one night after my move back home, I overheard my father on the telephone. There was some trouble. Later, he the problem with me. Obviously my knowledge of law helped him a lot. I talked through the problem with him, the motives of the people involved and offering several negotiation strategies.

I, who knew my father as an intelligent man, had never understood his intelligence didn’t cover all of my feelings.
I believe that coming home has me years of questions and confusion. I nowadays consider my parents as people who have other relationships than just being my parents, relationships that and define them.
Best of all, I nowadays regard my parents as : people who ask me for advice; people who need my and understanding. And I’ve come to see my past in a view. Knowing them makes me feel safe in where I come from and where I’m going.
