“I look so fat in the mirror.”
“She’s so pretty, why can’t I look like her?”
If you feel bad about , you need to read Nobody’s Perfect by American author Kimberly Kirberger.
Kim uses stories from real teens to girls to learn to love themselves.
She says that bad thoughts about yourself come habits.
Her own story this. Kim had three brothers who say bad things to her like “nobody likes you”.
Of course, her brothers did not really mean they said. But things people to you can become part of your thinking. To stop this, Kim tells us to pay attention to our thoughts and the we speak to ourselves.
It’s very easy these bad thoughts to good ones.
Whenever you have a few minutes , think of some nice things people have said to you recently.
Then think about what you like yourself. Slowly you will feel better about yourself and you will feel .
But there will still be times when you think of . Try to bring your mind back to good thoughts.
Changing thoughts from bad to good time. But as you practice saying kind things to yourself, you will understand that no one is perfect and you will like much more.

Stuart and Steve were twin brothers. Stuart loved to play basketball. But Steve loved to read books.
One day Stuart was playing basketball 1 he fell and broke his leg. When they took him to the hospital, the doctor said he wouldn’t be able to play for six months. Steve went 2 him and brought him books on basketball. At first Stuart wasn’t going to read them. Then he began to read them and 3 that there were ways he could play basketball better. He began to think that books weren’t that 4 .
When Stuart’s leg started getting better, Steve would help him by going for walks with him. 5 Stuart’s doctor said he could start playing basketball again. Then Stuart showed Steve how to toss (投) for baskets. Steve found that he enjoyed it.
Then Stuart was ready to 6 the basketball games. Steve went to games and enjoyed himself. They then 7 practiced basketball and read books together.

Monty Robert’s father was a horse trainer. As a child, Monty often went from one farm to21 with his father. Sometimes they didn’t have enough money to 22 food, but Monty still kept hoping to own a 23 farm.
When he was in school, his teacher asked him to write a paper 24 what he wanted to be and do when he grew up. He wrote a seven-page paper 25 his dream of having a horse farm one day. He 26 drew a picture of a horse farm in the paper.
The next day he handed 27 in to his teacher. Two days later, he got his paper back. On the front page was a large red “F” with some words “See me after class.” 28 the boy did and asked his teacher, “Why did I get an F?” The teacher said, “This dream will not 29 for a young boy like you. 30 a horse farm needs a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for a lot of things. There is no way you could ever do it.” Then the teacher added, “If you write this paper again with a 31 dream, I will give you a good grade.”
After school he thought about it 32 . At last, he decided to hand in the same paper, making 33 changes at all. He wrote, “You can keep the F and I’ll keep my 34 .”
Many years later, Monty had his own 200 acres horse farm. His dream came true.
So don’t let 35 take away your dreams. Follow your dreams, no matter what they are.
