As a senior three student, it won’t take long after I graduate. Now, I have much to share with my fellow student. Firstly, I’d like to show my appreciation to those stand by me all the way, teachers, parents and friends included. Without their help or advice, my life would be different. Secondly, it’s high time for I to say sorry to the classmates whom I hurt or misunderstood. I firm believe that communication and smiles act as bridges to friendship. Thirdly, I’ve made my mind to make every effort to study, so hard work is the key to a success. Finally I want to express my hope which all the younger fellows can make fully use of time, because time and tide wait for no man.

Tom is a senior two students who devotes himself to his lessons every day. Last Saturday, as usual, he went to several courses. In the evening, he studies at home until deep into the night. He was too sleepy and tired that he couldn’t work effectively. In Sunday morning, Tom was about to study when his father came up and advised him to have break. Soon they had a good idea. They bought a kite a kite which they liked it very much and then the family went to the suburbs where Tom enjoyed fly the kite himself. The family had a picnic together but felt very relaxed in the open air. On Monday, Tom was energetic and actively in class. He said it was only why he had a better weekend.

Read English newspapers is my favorite activity. When I entered into high school, I began to enjoy doing such work. With the teacher’s help, I realize that reading English articles are of great important. It’s a good way to improve my English. I’ve learned more new words and expression by doing so. I also get many information, including news about China and the world outside. It opens my eyes widely. Which I love most is the section about TV programs in the coming week. I dislike reading long articles there are many new word. I will work hard to keep on as if it’s a particularly hard task for me.

I enter an Internet bar near my home the other day. To my amazed, I met many students there, listening to music, chatting with strangers or watch movies. Some of them seem to be playing computer games online. From my opinion, the Internet bar ought to be a place what we can search for helpful information. But we should consider the Internet bar a window for us to learn something rather than a place for fun. We can benefit greatly if making a good use of it. I suggest schools can take active measure to stop students spending much time on the Internet.

Failure is part of our life. Somebody has ever achieved great success without lots of failures. One experience left lasting impression on me. I’ve been fond of playing the piano since my childhood. Last year there was a piano competition for teenager in my city and I take part in it. I couldn’t wait to show off. The day finally came. However, when I was on the stage I was very nervous that I made several mistakes while playing. My performance was a completely failure!
It was only after the competition when I realized my failure resulted in my lack of practice. From then on, I devoted more time to play the piano because I firmly believe that practice make perfect.
