At present. I am extreme happy because I am doing what I like. As a senior three student, I study hard every day and live it at the full. It feels like good to study hard with my determining classmates to fulfill our dreams. When I recalled the happy things happened to me, the experience of my receiving the scholarship in middle school topped it all. It was a time when my family is going through financial difficulties. So I made up my mind to win the scholarship, hoped to lighten up my parents’ financial burdens. After making tons of painstaking effort, I succeeded. At the ceremony, my mom was the most poorly-dressed woman, and with the brightest smile on her face.

My wife and I go to the theatre whenever we have time. But before we buy
ticket, we would like to know whether the play is good and bad. When a
new play open, we usually read the reviews on our local newspapers to
get information to it. Last week a new comedy opened at the theatre. The
newspaper story said it was very amused, so we decided to go on the Saturday
night. It took my wife a long time to make her mind what to wear and we left
a little later. By the time we got there, the first act already begun. We were
sorry we missed part of the play, because the rest of it was very funny.
Our class recently has had a heated discussion about if the historic old buildings should be tear down. Opinions varies from one
to another. Some students support the protection of those buildings so they are carriers of history through which the future generations can deep unde
rstand the development of our city. Beside, the historic old buildings can also arouse people’s love for the city.
In the contrary, some other students think that the old buildings may hold bac
k the development of economy and the process of modernization. It may affect the beauty of the city.
As far I’m concerned, I approve of（赞成） the former opinion. But if a building is worth of little, it may be proper to demolish(摧毁) it and make better use of that area. We should just weight the advantages and disadvantages.

Dear Tracy,
I am a high school student. I love English but want to learn it well. But for a long time I have been puzzling about my comprehension and I was nervous about my reading speed. I know the way to improving my reading is that to read a lot , and many people say that when you are reading, you shouldn’t move your lips or try to read with my heart. I can do the first but I can’t do other. If I just read with my eye, I am afraid I can’t understand the meaning of the whole passage full. How can I do ? Would you please help me, Miss Tracy?

Some day I happened to find a chatting room in my QQ, there people were chatting in English. I tried to chat with some of them. To my surprised, I found the oral English of some junior students were better than me. I asked them for advice and they told me to practise more on QQ. But every day after that I would spend one hour practise my oral English on QQ. Day by day I learned from many useful words and expressions. With time went by, I found that I could even communicate some college students freely.
